LRL Roofing Solutions, founded by Robert Lomax in 2005, has grown steadily to become a leading UK industrial and commercial flat roofing contractor.

In 2020, Robert Lomax transitioned to the role of CEO, promoting Robert Richmond to Managing Director. Under their joint leadership, the business has continued to expand and strengthen its position in the market. In 2022, Robert Richmond acquired equity in the business, further aligning leadership with the long term success of the company.

As LRL has grown, the scale and complexity of our projects have increased significantly. Over the past twelve months, we have sought to recruit an Operations Director with the expertise to lead this critical aspect of the business. Despite our efforts, we have not found a suitable candidate who aligns with our values and vision.

To ensure continued operational excellence, we have decided that Robert Richmond will assume the role of Operations Director, leveraging his deep knowledge of our operations and project delivery.

Robert Lomax will transition into the Managing Director role, focusing on strategic leadership and the continued growth of the business.

Both Roberts bring extensive experience and a shared commitment to LRL’s success. With two equity owning Directors leading the business, we strengthen our leadership, reinforce our operational capability, and enhance the value we deliver to our clients and supply partners.

We are confident that this change will position LRL Roofing Solutions for continued success and enable us to tackle the challenges of our evolving industry.
