Weʼre raising £5,000 to help two amazing charities, Shine and Lighthouse by completing a twenty-mile charity walk!
Starting in Egerton, just outside of Bolton, we plan to make our way north towards Darwen taking in the rolling hills along the way before looping back around, most likely aching and with blisters to prove our dedication to the cause!
We are raising funds for two fantastic charities along the way and hope to raise £5,000 that will go towards providing the support they require to keep up the great work they do.
Our selected charities are:
Shine - who provide specialist advice and support for spina bifida and hydrocephalus across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Lighthouse - who provide emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families.
In taking on this mean feat we hope that it will help out with our own fitness and mental health, encouraging others to get out and about and take a stroll in the Great British countryside.
