LRL Roofing Solutions are proud to announce that we are now now sponsoring the Eccles Boxing School.
Our sponsorship will go towards helping the team at Eccles Boxing School purchase new equipment, tracksuits and maintain the gym.
We take great pleasure in giving back to our local community and have been impressed with the commitment of the team at EBS who whilst running a leisure business also invest a huge amount of time in helping the community and working with local youths.
Owned and managed by Brian Gardner the gym not only offers local children the opportunity to learn about boxing but also a safe place to socialise and have fun thanks to the new youth club and social zone completed in February. Brian had this to say about the club:
“We want to help get kids in Salford off the streets and give them a purpose in life. We do this two ways, one of course is the boxing and fitness side of things but we also teach the kids life skills and give them the opportunity to socialise in a safe space. The gym has become a safe haven for many kids and the funding we have received goes a long way to enhancing the equipment and the training we can offer. Without this much appreciated support and that of others within the community our gym would struggle.”
