Deyes High School, part of the Lydiate Learning Trust in Maghull, Liverpool, is a state-of-the-art net zero carbon secondary school funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and the first to feature bio-solar technology. Designed with sustainability in mind, it incorporates photovoltaic panels, hybrid natural ventilation, and air source heat pumps while offering enhanced student wellbeing through sports facilities, nature trails, and wildlife habitats. LRL collaborated with Kier to install a seamless Bauder Bakor hot melt system, ensuring exceptional waterproofing, UV resistance, and integration with the hybrid bio-solar solution to achieve its net zero carbon goals.
